Height 24 - 48 inches.
Cultivar Pepperbox
Propagation Sow direct in late fall or very early spring (they do not transplant well).
Cultivation Full sun and sandy loam soil is best.
Disease Bacterial blight causes black lesions on stems, leaves, and seed pods.
Harvest Cut poppy pods when seed pod fully mature in size and still slightly green.
Drying Hang poppy pods upside down in dry, dark, open, airy place.
A very nice and unique dried flower accent.
